About Kross Kut Film Foundation
Kross Kut Film Foundation (Charitable Trust “Non-Profit Organization”) is making an important contribution towards strengthening the identity and visibility of internal migrant workers and their families.
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected over 180 countries globally and is particularly challenging for India because of its population density and stressed public health systems. Experts agree that the best way of dealing with this crisis is through preventative measures, like social distancing, quarantining probable cases and following good personal hygiene. But as we go through these testing times in our homes, grateful for access to basic amenities, daily necessities and regular income, there are those who are not so fortunate.
Daily wage labourers, taxi drivers, house helps, sanitation workers, medical workers, health professionals and thousands of others are at a huge risk of contracting Covid-19, with possibly grave consequences. For them, every day has been a struggle due to income instability, lack of access to preventative measures and working to screen and treat affected people.

Girls continue to play second fiddle in India. Despite education being a fundamental right for all children, girls from impoverished, illiterate families are mostly denied this right.
Poverty, cultural norms, poor school infrastructure, distance from home and child marriage play a huge part in keeping them away from class. And by the time they reach adolescence, almost 40% are out of school, a majority kept at home doing household chores instead of preparing for further studies and gainful employment.
Mission: Every Girl in School aims to support the education of 1,000 girls across the country - and you can be a part of it. Just a small donation from you every month can make a huge difference to one girl's life.
Our promise that your giving is doing what it's supposed to - changing lives. We go to the extent of meeting the actual people that the nonprofits serve. Yes, they sometimes live in remote villages, but that doesn't stop us because we take our promise to bring you trustworthy options very seriously.
Homeless children are among the most invisible sections of society. They do not have any presence in the government record and are susceptible to trafficking, child labor and drug use. There are 2 million
children in India who are forced to live on the streets, with no one to take care of them. They live in dangerous conditions and struggle with poverty and hunger daily.
Mission: No Child Homeless is an effort to provide a safe shelter to homeless children in India. Donate an amount that is equal to how much you spend on one meal outside to change a kids life.
Your contribution can provide a safe space for these children to grow. Join this mission and provide shelter to homeless kids across India.
Note : Once you donate, we will send you the name and photo of the child you are supporting as well as periodic progress reports about them.
The country has seen large scale devastation as an effect of Covid-19. The pandemic has led to massive losses of income and had a long-lasting impact on the economy. Poor daily wager families who were
already struggling to make ends meet are now starving. And the worst-hit are their children - who need not just full stomachs but proper nutrition to grow.
More than a third of the world’s malnourished children live in India. Now, due to the pandemic, the numbers are only rising. 95.1 million children are deprived of midday meals at school during the pandemic.
The State of the World's Children Report 2019 by UNICEF reckons that 69% of deaths among children under five years of age can be attributed to malnutrition in India. It also estimates that every second child up
to five years of age is affected by some form of malnutrition. That is just an indication of the level of risk children in this country face in this crisis.
Through Mission: No Child Hungry, our NGO partners will be distributing monthly nutrition kits to ensure India’s poor children are not malnourished. The kits will contain immunity-boosting formulas,
multi-vitamins, iron-rich food items, and food with high protein content including dates, Horlicks, chickpea/green gram/cowpea, ragi flour, etc.
Provide nutrition for the development and growth of all children. All it takes is $ 100 per month to safeguard one child from malnutrition.
India has been in lockdown since 25 March to control Covid-19 pandemic, causing mass layoffs and heavy job losses. Millions of desperate migrant workers, particularly daily-wage earners, facing starvation after losing jobs are fleeing cities on foot to return to their villages. Help promised by state governments in terms of cash transfers and free ration kit distribution has not reached many sections, due to the sheer numbers involved and lack of ration cards with migrant guest workers.
